Femmes at Full Volume focuses on righteous female and female-presenting warriors and solid indie cred female-led bands dating back to the early eighties forward. It features icons such as Stevie Nicks, Patti Smith, Joan Jett, Lady Gaga, and Erykah Badu, to artists closer to the underground, including Rita Lukea, Alli Logout, Zola Jesus, and many more.
Bobby Talamine shot his first concert in 1977, as a teenager, when Led Zeppelin played the Chicago Stadium, and started photographing concerts professionally in 1982. Throughout the decades, Talamine has captured over 5,000 artists.
Join Bobby and Q101’s Lauren O’Neil in a conversation about the book, the subjects, and the ever changing scenes.
